Building on 15 years success in the design, installation and support of business IT and telephony systems, Manchester based SBS Networks has developed its specialist, Cyber Security service.
SBS Cyber Security is fully accredited to inspect, assess and certify business IT systems according to the UK Government’s “Cyber Essentials” and “Cyber Essentials Plus” security assurance framework.
As a Trusted Channel Partner of Xyone – a leading cyber security advisory service, SBS Cyber Security will deliver the UK Government approved Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, assessment and certification service. This will ensure that SBS clients and their staff receive the right advice and training and deploy the correct Cyber Security measures to protect their business, systems and data.
Additionally, SBS clients will be able to use the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus quality mark on their business documentation, demonstrating that their systems and personnel have achieved an accredited standard of Cyber Security.
Developed by GCHQ, this scheme offers a mechanism for organisations to demonstrate to their customers, investors, insurers and others that they have taken essential, data security precautions.
As digital minister Ed Vaizey said in November 2015: “I’d like to see all businesses operating online, adopt Cyber Essentials. Cyber Essentials isn’t just for the large prime firms – it also helps them to manage their third party risks, which is why we have made the scheme suitable for smaller businesses, including those who are part of larger supply chains.”
SBS Cyber Security will work with its clients, devising training and IT policies that when implemented across the business, will help to ensure the IT security of the business, its systems and data.
